IN HIS PURSUIT (A Photographer’s Journey) | KR Sunil
The boy's dreams were about football and he was told stories of a faraway land that was beautiful, where football was celebrated. He was full of desire - to experience the place. As the highly anticipated journey took an unfortunate turn, he lost much more than he could have ever imagined... Years and memories have faded. One man sets out on a pursuit to find the boy. To see his present days. To check what reality has left of a dream... Photographer K R Sunil often goes beyond his frames to explore and discover soulful human stories. In this journey, he pursues a long forgotten life; that of a Tamil boy who endured the worst in a journey to Kerala. As the World Cup fever peaks, here is a story about dreams, fate and of course, FOOTBALL. AN ALL - WOMEN KATHAKALI SAGA
KNMA presents an inspiring tale of womanhood and art, intertwined to form a beautiful expression. The world's first all-women Kathakali troupe, Thripunithura Vanitha Kathakali Sangam, has evolved and influenced generations of women artists and art lovers. Formed in 1974, this team of performers has taken their art around the globe on countless stages, and elevated the stature of women in art - to the extent of being conferred the Nari Shakti Puraskar by the President of India in 2017. Their story speaks of an unceasing passion for Kathakali, and about how a group of girls fortified a timeless presence in this male-dominated art form. Stories by KNMA Our stories are varied, but all of them are inevitably about art. They narrate tales of art, its different forms, and the lives related to them.

Chendamangalam Handloom: Design Intervention in Craft Revival
Chendamangalam is a small unassuming town by the banks of the river Periyar, almost 30 kilometres away from the city in Ernakulam. It was a thriving centre of trade and exchange near the ancient sea port Muziris. Its local handloom industry was nearly destroyed in the 2019 floods. The film wishes to document the processes of the Chendamangalam handloom craft, through the H47 sector. It places the craft practice in the wider context of its history and then arrives at the post-flood situation. The aim is to highlight how this design intervention has merged tradition and contemporary sensibilities and has thus supported the survival of this handloom heritage.
